“I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. At check-in, I was thoughtfully greeted and allowed to retreat to my room well over 3 hours early. Reception encouraged me to get some rest when I mentioned I was quite tired, and that they’d be happy to give me a tour once rested if this was my preference. “I would have given it 10 out of 10 if it wasn't the lack of hot water during my husband shower when it was 2 degrees outside. He had to get out wet and have a shower in another apartment as there was no one to fix the issue at the time. The dinner and breakfast were amazing and the service from the waiter as well. It is a beautiful Quinta with great views. The bed and bedsheets were really nice and the apartments are great for people staying longer as you have the ability to cook your own...

“Manager was incredible. Handled the registration; looked after my request to change rooms; served dinner - 5 course meal and back in the morning to serve breakfast! ”

“Wineries around the area, the Douro river, and lookout points are fantastic, amazing, beyond words at times. However, the surrounding town doesnt offer much else. The train station was cool but "short n sweet", much cooler if actually travelling by train.”
