"The location is excellent, and the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The food was good overall, although I feel there could be a wider variety of vegetarian options. The chefs were particularly helpful and made a real effort to accommodate our requests, which we really appreciated. One suggestion for improvement would be to keep breakfast and dinner at the same hotel. During our stay, the management alternated the meals between two hotels on different days, which was a little inconvenient. Having both meals consistently at the same hotel would make the overall experience much more comfortable for guests. The main thing we were disappointed with was being charged separately for drinking water during dinner, despite having booked a half-board package. I would expect basic drinking water to be included with dinner, particularly for half-board guests. Overall, however, we had a very good stay, enjoyed our time there, and appreciated the excellent service from the staff."

"We were disappointed that it wasn’t clear 2 pools were adult only & that the pools shut at 7pm, the coffee machine in the room broke, the breakfast wasn’t amazing but ok, the hotel didn’t take our 20% off food & drink automatically so make sure you mention it every time you pay there. When busy we struggled to get a pool lounger. Love that 2 rooms were literally connected, the porters taking & bringing car to you was excellent although they lost our car at one point so take a photo of your reg/car. Great location to walk to mall."
Sofitel Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa

"We stayed at Sofitel Dubai The Palm for 4 nights in August as a family of 5, with children aged 7, 14 and 17. We booked a 2-bedroom Family Apartment, which was spacious and worked well for five. However, it felt dated and would benefit from modernisation. The kitchen has a full-size fridge/freezer, washing machine and combination oven, but wasn’t well equipped for five. We had to request extra glasses and more clothes hangers. The hotel provided these promptly. There was no coffee machine, although one was brought to us when requested. The filtered water was only lukewarm, but the hotel supplied complimentary bottled water. We also found the beds quite firm, but a mattress topper was provided. The resort was very busy in August, with the pool and common areas feeling relatively small and limited loungers. We didn’t use the beach because of the heat, although it would be more enjoyable in cooler months. The buffet had a good selection and the Porterhouse steak restaurant was excellent. Half board and the dine-around option gave us plenty of choice. Drinks are expensive, with bottled water around £8–£10 per litre. Breakfast gets extremely busy, so arrive early if you prefer a calmer experience. Following a few issues, management kindly provided lounge access, which was much quieter and greatly improved our stay. The staff and management were friendly and helpful throughout. Overall, I’d recommend it for a 3–4 night family stay at the right price as it’s a nice hotel."

The rooms are beautiful, the facilities are world-class, and the attention to detail throughout the property is impressive. The pools, restaurants, and overall atmosphere made our stay unforgettable. What really stood out was the service—everyone was professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Atlantis The Royal definitely lives up to the hype. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at, and we would absolutely come back!"

"Lovely hotel - second time staying here but honestly we don't think we would come back as Varq, Roaring Rabbit and Raia were shut most of our stay... otherwise super clean hotel and we very much enjoyed our stay otherwise."
