I read some bad reviews about this property which I feel are unfair. The property is in a great location, in walking distance of so many places. There’s also lots of bars, restaurants and coffee shops on your doorstep.
There was some noise from the nearby bars at night on one evening ( a Tuesday) but it was not unbearable. I was still able to sleep without earplugs. (The hotel provided free earplugs in the room).
The room was clean and spacious. It was great that the TV’s allowed you to pair your Netflix account.
The room was very hot on the first night but staff were helpful and gave me a fan when I requested.
If you are looking for a quiet stay in Dublin then don’t stay here but if you want to be in the heart of the action then it couldn’t be better.
Overall the stay was fine. It was in a great location near all the local pubs. However, because of that it was pretty noisy, so just be prepared for that as other guests have said. Would be a great hotel if you’re looking to stay out until 3/4 am at the pubs nearby! The hotel did provide earplugs which were great and almost everyone used them!
It was quite warm when we stayed and one of the windows was broken in our room so it was quite stuffy. Other than that, it was mostly fine. Staff was quite nice but they do require IDs for all guests, so be prepared for that.
The music from the pub next door wasn’t a problem for me. And the second room we got had great windows that reduced all the noise. The amenities were good, tea bags and coffee. The staff also helped me getting around. We were in the heart of Dublin. The local bus to the airport was right in front of the hotel. I would return!!!!
Very clean, close to the city, shops very close. Only thing are the windows are single pane so you can literally hear everything from outside because it’s a busy street. Other than that I would recommend would stay there again.

Liked: Staff & service
On arrival room was good. Little things like door handle etc was loose. Noise isn’t as bad as it seems from the room. Good central location, everything nearby
The reason I booked the Camden was the location. It sounded cute with the movie theater theme and the photos of the rooms on their website looked nice. However, what we got was a room with a double bed attached to the wall and two people who are 54 and 61 in a situation where one person has to climb over the other only 1 backless chair in the room. No modern HVAC so you must choose between street noise or some noise dampening. We had just finished a 5 day tour around the Irish countryside and ended up booking a hotel room last minute elsewhere.
The one good thing about the room was a lot of shelves to store luggage and belongings.
This would work for younger people, but the StayCity Apartment Hotel with modern HVAC and kitchens in rooms wasn't much more expensive.
Lovely, spacious hotel room, unbeatable location for Dublin's nightlife.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was good for what we needed. We were up early, out all day and back late at night.
They provided earplugs due to there being a bar below the hotel but the noise didn't bother us and did not continue all throughout the night anyway.
I out a 4 stars for most part apart from maintenance - the plugs on the left side of the bed didn't work as plugs wouldn't go fully in the socket, the toilet seat moved right off if you pushed it and the carpet is like it's covered in patches of ironing burns. However, it did not dampen our stay you could still sit on the toilet without falling, there were other plugs and the carpet just felt weird underfoot but for value for money and closeness to all that Dublin has to offer it was brilliant and we would definitely stay here again. The movie posters and theme throughout is really cool
Hotel was in a great location, perfect for what we needed and based on the reviews it was so much better than expected. Room was clean, modern and huge. There was 4 adults in one room and we had plenty of space. The noise from the club wasn’t an issue for any of us. Will definitely stay in this hotel next time I come.
Was skeptical due to the price but we were over the moon with the stay and would definitely recommend. Room was absolutely spotless and so spacious for the 3 of us, would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much!
This night away was a spur of the moment but to say it was the best unplanned trip, the hotel was amazingly comfortable with all mod cons in a small hotel
The hotel was absolutely fine for our needs, it was near and clean and the price was ok for a very expensive city for accommodation. Some may find it a bit noisy with the busy street and the late bars but on the top floor it seemed ok
