Business was light the two days/nights we stayed, so they allowed us to park our pickup and 22 ft trailer in the parking area tucked off to the side. Absolutely safe area!

Bed was very comfortable, but the breakfast options were poor. We paid a lot for our rooms, but this hotel is old and run down, not as nice as what we expected for the price.
The staff at the hotel - the desk staff, the housekeeping staff, and everyone (with the exception of a very surly man stocking and cleaning up after breakfast) was very friendly and helpful. The WiFi could use some serious upgrading, but overall it was a nice place to stay for a reasonable rate in Durango.
The expedia reviews overstate the property. It is maybe a 5/10. It has a tiny pool, mini towels, limited breakfast, and weird warning signs about all the things you can be charged for. They add a safe fee when you get there. I would look for something better if I go back to Durango.
The price was right! We enjoyed a week in Durango staying here. It's just a few minutes from downtown. A hot breakfast with many options is available every morning. Plus freshly made popcorn all day,, along with warm cookies served every afternoon. We experienced a ittle highway traffic noise in our particular room, and we could hear our neighbors through the walls. Overall it was a good place to hang our hats for the week!
Lack of functioning lighting in the room. Had to jockey lamps in order to provide adequate lighting. For the nightly price, overall experience was below average.
Our favorite thing was the sauna, what a neat little surprise! Our daughter enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was super yummy. The guy checking us in was super professional and kind.
