“The room was clean tidy and well equipped. As we are british we drink tea and the room has two tea bags.... I know you can get them from reception but quite frankly its poor. We had drinks in the bar prior to eating out with our friends and the bar prices I felt were very reasonable and were cheaper than the restaurant we ate in. “This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem.”
