“The hotel was situated within walking distance to the downtown area which was really convenient. We checked in without any problems and staff was very accommodating. The decor in general is lovely, colorful and inviting. My husband used the hot tub and it was very relaxing. Our meals in the restaurant were high quality. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner. This would definitely be where we would return to stay again.”

“Staying at the Pine Cottage was a delight as we explored Mackinac Island for the first time. It’s off the main path which meant a quiet evening and a good night’s sleep. The innkeeper was very knowledgeable and provided great tips and info about the island. We would happily stay there again because we for sure will return to this magical place.”

“Room was odd but everything was very clean with exception of a ragged mat in the shower stall. The only thing that would keep me from returning is the door was not an exterior door, but a room door like would be in a bedroom, and the only lock was a push button on the knob. This is not secure.
Also the room was about 10 feet from a busy road with created considerable road noise.”
