“Tauruu hotel is the place to stay. Wolfgang the owner/manager is attentive, accommodating and informative. He is available 24/7 to help or answer your questions through whats app. Starting with easy pickup at the airport (included) through being permitted a a later checkout and ride back to airport. “ The rooms are very nice, breakfast is excellent, and most of the staff are very friendly. Service at the front desk varied depending on who was working. The hotel is in a more remote location and walking to town isn’t ideal because of the busy road. Transportation into town can be a bit tricky, as taxis aren’t always easy to find.”

“This was a perfect experience for what we wanted. Carla is amazing. Pick up was easy. She arranged a rental for us to use. The lodge was secluded (which we loved and wanted). It was clean and view of the ocean from our window and balcony along with the stars at night beyond perfect. We will stay here every time we visit. ”

Notre séjour a été des plus agréable notamment grâce l'accueil unique de Maria-Isabela qui prend soin de ses hôtes avec beaucoup de soin et d'attention. Les petits déjeuner sont délicieux, et l'accès a une cuisine commune est bien pratique. Je conseille vraiment cet hôtel au rapport qualité/prix très intéressant. ”

“The room was clean and centrally located. Central location made for some evening noise but …. Close to restaurants and the main shopping street made up for that! Close to the ocean, am watching surfers and sea turtles as I type. Pick up and delivery from/to the airport was fabulous so I didn’t have to rent a vehicle. ”

Stafg is very helpful in organizing tours and providing general information. Maria is a gem, giving me loads of island information and the lady boss shared lots of information about usland culture and customs. I felt incredible welcomed and highly recommend a stay at the Cabanas. Thanks Tiare and Husband and Maria for making my stay so memorable”
