"Make sure you know what you're booking: the Economy rooms in the old Villa do not have bathrooms or showers en suite. (I did know that.) If you're looking for a cowboy-culture rustic vibe and a cheap place to stay, Dow Villa fits the bill--there's John Wayne (and other cowboy film) memorabilia all over. There are no mini-fridges, microwaves or coffeemakers in the rooms, but there is decent coffee available from very early morning in the lobby. Wifi is good, AC maybe less so. But the place is...
