“Self check-in. Parking was a bit cramped, but fine for a smaller car like mine. Being a bit paranoid, the window air conditioner worried me. It would be really easy to break in through the window if someone wanted to. Also, you can't close the window because of the AC, therefore it can be a bit noisy because the property is right on 395. “Check in was efficient and pleasant. The room was clean and the air conditioner cooled everything down quickly. The walls are pretty thin and if the neighbors are loud you will hear them. The restaurant across the highway was pretty good, but if you’re walking, be careful making your way across! Make note that the motel is not in Bridgeport but 5 miles away.”

“A basic motel with the basic necessities needed for a one night stay that were all in working order. However, the highlight that stands out was the warm hospitality and friendliness of the owners that greeted me when I checked in. I was provided with a cold bottle of water and snacks and fruit after a long drive from LA. She even made sure my room was in good condition before handing me the key! “What was unique about the property was the staff. It's a family owned operation and they greet you with a basket of goodies when you arrive! They are very friendly and helpful and know everything that's going on in Big Pine, as far as good places to go to eat. The room was very clean and there were lots of tissue boxes and free samples for the guests to use. Parking was great, each parking spot had a number that matched the room number. I will definitely go back !!!”

“It was terrible and really hope you think twice before booking the hotel and through the app. I drove a long way and arrived at the property, but there was no staff at the front desk and I received no email, text, or app message with check-in instructions during the whole process.That night I attempted to contact the property and app, but no one answered and had to sleep in my car. The property failed to provide the booked accommodation during the process. Now, they refused my refund requestion....

“Everything about the property is excellent. In addition to the conventional ròoms available for booking, a KOA campground is part of the overall operation. Be aware that your arrival time must be conveyed to ensure someone is available to receive you upon arrival. Also, be aware that some cell phone carriers do not cover the immediate spot. T-Mobile could not be used. Fortunately, we had another phone with a different carrier and were OK. WI-FI IS VERY GOOD. STAFF COULD BE MORE CONGENIAL.”
