"I stayed here for 2 nights with my wife. The room was very clean, the garden is well kept and a beautiful place for food and drinks and relaxing in the Norfolk countryside. Breakfast was great, freshly cooked with coffee and fresh orange juice. The wifi was poor and only really worked by reception which was frustrating as there’s also very little phone signal at the location. Plenty of parking"

"What's not to like? Fabulous place, great family atmosphere about the place. Great food, good beer, nice room, dog friendly, Limited parking, but right in the middle of town in the middle of Norfolk. Sensible location for anyone working in the area, close to the A11. Good dog walking from the pub. Daniel and his team (overseen by Mum) are very welcoming, as is the pub - it'll wrap it's warm and welcoming arms around you - here you can relax and feel at home and really look forward to returning...

"What a lovely stay, we stayed in the print room which was the perfect size, very homely and welcoming, overlooking the market square. "The hotel was fine. It was clean and had everything I needed. The food was great and the staff were friendly. However, I was put in room 30 which is right next door to the fitness studio. There was dance music booming until 10pm then back on at 6:30 am. The music was so loud in the morning I could hear it while I was showering. This, along with the fire door outside my room banging all night meant I had a terrible sleep. When I booked Ithe room online, i stated I was there on business and feel strongly that I should have been put well away from the noise."

"It was odd to enter a hotel and find a child playing computer games on reception. The lovely Italian gentleman soon appeared and checked us in and took us to our room. He was very helpful and welcoming. We went straight down to dinner and were sat at a lovely table by the window overlooking the river. The chairs were completely shot with no seat support at all. I had to get a cushion to sit on but it wasn't much help. The menu was amazing and the food was fantastic. Unfortunately there's no blackout blinds or curtains. When we looked at the curtains they have black mould along the bottom of the lining. There's lights outside that shine up at the hotel however they also shine into the room at the side of the curtains so even during hours of darkness the room isn't dark. Once you get to 5am the room is flooded with light. The mattress has seen better days and offered no support. Our sleep therefore was very poor each of the two nights we stayed. The decor is lovely and it's obvious the owner has a good business, some excellent staff and a fantastic chef, but if you have had a poor night's sleep in a hotel it's difficult to score it very highly as sleep is the point of a hotel. The breakfast was excellent however the breakfast waitress, although clearly extremely capable and efficient, was somewhat brisk. The second morning when waiting to be seated for breakfast we were ignored by the bar staff who went to serve some locals who arrived after us. The new lady was excellent."
