"I stayed two nights in the double wee room. It is not that wee after all - surprisingly generous with the space, in fact, with a large double bed (composed of two half-mattresses). The hotel defines the center (one sees the Burns monument in front) and is quite pretty in an old-school, Britannia kind of way (with Scottish green tones as the main color). Extremely quiet (non-view room), all amenities working as intended (tea / coffee / choco maker in room; tv, old-school phone; iron & board etc.). Breakfast is prettily presented with basic options: full English, sandwich, fruit and some interesting health-juices. Decent hours (to 10/10:30 am). Otherwise restaurant with a 20% discount coupon found in your room. Staff friendly and efficient. Rooms cleaned daily, without having to ask. I will definitely return."
