"Our room was very clean and ready for our arrival. We received our bottle of wine for being VIP with hotels.com. The bar staff downstairs as well as upstairs at La Perla were so welcoming and friendly. The location is just perfect for walking around anywhere downtown. The plaza across the street is always bustling with families and people enjoying the shade. The valet service is perfect, prompt and efficient, especially the valets, James and Alan. They not only loaded our car as we were leaving, but gave us better directions to get to the scenic drive than our GPS!!! Love this hotel because of service like this."

"We were put in a room right above the pool. When you first walked in, it smelled so strong of pool and was very humid. There was left over trash on the floor next to the couch. They ran out of bacon at breakfast. The hotel was 8 floors, and we were placed on the 3rd floor. The elevators took FOREVER and were on the smaller side, we had to wait a few times as the elevators were too full. We love staying at Embassy Suites as its very spacious and accommodates our family of 5 but we will not be staying at this hotel next visit to El Paso."

"The room smells very musty and outdated. Didn’t even use the fridge, smells bad right when you open it. Didn’t feel comfortable taking a shower, the towels seemed very old and used. The toilet flushes poorly, needs 2 flushing to get the toilet paper to flush down after doing #1, will likely clog for #2. In terms of accessibility from I-10, yes it’s good location. Parking is plenty. The staff are nice & respectful."
