“Air Conditioning was nice. House keeping came daily. Rooms were spacious but bathrooms are tiny, limited towels, staff was not helpful, beds were very hard, rooms flooded from rain storm was told to put luggage on bed. Never tried to do anything about it. Front desk was VERY slow. Rooms were not ready at 4. They had muffins and water daily. NOT worth the price.”

“The location is perfect for those who want to visit St. John while on vacation in St Thomas. The pools were great to swim in after long days at the beautiful beaches. Sapphire beach is very close by! We enjoyed the music while we chilled at the beach. Coki is also a short walk away. The water was like a swimming pool!! We visited St John on 3 occasions and the ferry ride from Red Hook was very convienient. The rooms were very nice and the bed was very comfortable.We will definitely be back! ”

“The room was very clean and had great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly. The space is beautiful and charming. Bartender and Restaurant staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. My only piece of feedback would be to add some lounge chairs near the pool. But next time I come back to St Thomas there is no doubt I’m staying at Hotel 1829! ”

“This is a great place and a great value. If I could change only one little thing it would be to get the water in the shower a little more hot; it’s not cold but not quite hot—a little over lukewarm. “Everything was perfect at the St. John Inn! Karen was lovely and a friendly host. The room and property was clean and welcoming, and we really appreciated the amenities they offered.
