“This is a small, quaint hotel run by locals in the style of a hostel. We arrived way early and were allowed to swim in the pool for a few hours which was great! The common area is a great place to meet others, and the staff was very nice. We were very happy with this authentic stay and would return.”

“Do not stay here! Property is in shambles. Bar not open. Safe didnt work. Gave us another room, safe didnt work. Lobby furniture is dirty and carpets are worn and stained. Villa area is a home for ferrel cats. Pool area dirty. Looks like no repairs or upkeep since hurricane. Didn't feel safe walking the property. Expedia should remove this hotel from their site. ”

“I have traveled multiple Westin Properties. Given the current conditions of the USA, it is understandable of the difficulties these resorts face. However, this was not an all inclusive resort. The quality of food and cocktails were very reminiscent of all inclusive. But we’re NOT an all inclusive price. ”

“The resort had nice rooms with good amenities. The check in and out Staff were pretty stiff and seemed not to be enjoying their jobs. No smiles at greetings or check out. The guys who drove us to our room was excellent and friendly. We counted over a 100 steps to carry our bags up to check out and it would of been nice to offer a ride back up the steep incline. The girl who check us out said it wasn't an option.”

“What a tropical paradise! We were blown away by Hideaway! If you are looking for a private, family or couple getaway, this is the best place around! The simplicity might be a little less than what some want, but the stay met every one of our needs. The environment was beautiful and the beach was our favorite on the island! Little touches everywhere were not overlooked by my family. ”

I had an issue with my room location and they addressed it and changed it immediately. The stake-house was amazing (a bit pricey, but worth it).
