"This amazing & historical Hotel is absolutely perfect. It’s central & close location to the harbor & all it has to offer is 2nd to none. The rooms were spotless & comfortable as well. The wonderful staff, including all the people manning the restaurant surpassed our expectations & attended to our every need. Daniela at Front Desk & Paula in Housekeeping were beyond helpful, efficient & incredibly lovely to deal with.. We will be recommending AZORES Faial Gardens to all our friends around the world. Well done!"

"This review is less about the property itself than it is about the staff. When we arrived we were greeted by the front desk staff who asked us to sit in the common room while we waited for her colleague. The common room was very nice - all shared accomodations and things to do. I noticed they had beach towels available for guests to use which is very kind. Everything I saw was very clean and tidy. Once the colleague arrived she explained to us that there was an issue in our room - a pipe had burst and the room was unavailable, and they had no rooms left. Of course my heart sank initially hearing this, but very quickly was thrown into surprise when she said that she had arranged alternate accomdations at another guest house up the road for us - and she planned to personally drive us over. With the care and consideration that was taken by the staff here, the honesty and integrity and just general professionalism I can't say enough good things about them. I wish we were able to stay with them so we could experience the inn properly, but I have no doubt it is excellent 😊"

"We had an amzing stay. The staff were so calm and helpful. Nothing was too much problem. Wonderful location looking to Mount Pico and also across the water to Faial. Restaurant has a balcony looking out towards the sea. Seafood rice exceptional - lobster, crab, prawns, mussels etc - make sure you are hungry."

"We received an exceptionally warm welcome, with helpful staff at the reception and unexpected gift items in the room. Free parking in the basement garage was easy to access, and we were allowed to leave our car for the day after our checkout. Location was as central as it can get, with beautiful views of the Horta harbor."

"Nice rooms in an apartment like setting. Full kitchens. A few minor issues with room but contacts were helpful in resolving. Walkable to Marina areas with lots of bars/restaurants. Beach close as well. Open window and hear the waves."
