Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal/Il Lugano

10/10 Excellent
"Free breakfast was simple, eggs, toast, turkey sausage, so no complaints. Laundry in room was very helpful. Restaurant on-site was more than excellent, extremely unique and good. Lunch and dinner were hits. Bed was the most comfortable ever, firm, firm, firm. Our room consisted of a balcony, small bedroom, sofa, corridor kitchen, washer/dryer and decent bath, adequate for sure. Our family were given the same room type, but it was twice the size with a table, huge closets. Very spacious compared to ours. Our balconies had such nice water views. We were about 25 minutes from the port 2 unloading area via ~ $35 uber ride. The traffic was almost nonexistent on a Tuesday in Oct. The hotel is a 15 min walk to the beach, 5-10 min to an old downtown area with a few places to eat, Walgreens, Publix and the fabulous Lotus Asian massage business 5 min away. Best ever. All in all, we enjoyed our stay."
