"Old faucets in the bathroom were not working well. The faucets of one bathroom were shut off. Looking under the cabinet, I realized why. The valves were turned off and there was a wet towel. I tried to turn the valves. I was immediately sprayed by water thanks to a hole in the pipe from the valve to the faucet !!!
I had to keep the water shut off. I immediately contacted the front desk. I was told they didn’t have a maintenance person available, but would come and fix it the next morning. I was out the whole day for the next day. When I came back at night, I thought the problem would be fixed.
Wrong - nothing was done. Not a note either.
That was rather disappointing!
I didn’t bother calling again as it was late and I was leaving the next morning.
Besides the bathroom issues, there was a lot of dust on the nightstand. Clearly cleaning was on par with the bathroom fixtures - not good!"
Residence Inn by Marriott Sacramento Airport Natomas
8/10 Good
"The place is in an odd location but it’s nice. The only really issue I have is the fact they charge $10/day for parking. This was not budgeted in the trip and I fin it ridiculous that they do this. Particularly when it’s on its own private property. What it does, is piss me off and I won’t ever stay there again."
"Air-conditioning unit was very very loud kept waking me up. There was also a buzzing intermittent every five seconds coming from the bathroom vent. I don’t know what that was.. Also kind of an odor in the room musty. I guess for a three star hotel it’s what to be expected."
