"We arrived at this hotel, completely exhausted after a day of travel. We chose this hotel for their airport transfer and breakfast. Upon arrival, the staff was not very welcoming. Check in was not a smooth process and we had to wait for our Expedia reservation to come through. I felt we were intentionally delayed. When my annoyance had become apparent, (30-45 min) we were finally given a room key. I gave the property a 2 star instead of a one because the rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. I have a medical condition and have difficulty getting in a comfortable position. and I found the sofa to be quite comfortable. That is where the positivity ends. We requested a wake up call and airport transport and went to bed. I woke up late on my own because there was no wake up call. I was traveling with my mother and she went downstairs 15 minutes before the transport was requested. I finished getting our things together in a hurry and exited the elevator at the time we had requested. No transport. Waited about 10 min and inquired about it. , and she made some calls and told me they had already left, but the next one was arriving in 15 minutes. "Pool area was great, room definitely did not get a good cleaning in between. My girls had sand in there bed, wrappers under bathroom sink. Staff friendly "

"This property is really close to the beach, which was a big plus. The place itself is old and needs repairs, but it was clean. I also like the fact that it has a kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, and stove in case I wanted to cook. Lots of places to eat nearby that were walkable distance. Great stay for the price"

"There was a perfect beach view and easy beach access, my only complaint would be that the pool is too small for the amount of people that stay there, not enough chairs they get taken up really quickly"

"Room was clean AC in the living room was very cold not very strong in the bedroom. Had to maintain door open to try to get some air from the living room into the bedroom to try to sleep comfortably biggest drawback is when you want to watch TV to wind down the Chromecast only available feature built into the TV does not work properly . Does not stay connected so you cannot watch Netflix or prime video or anything properly . Lago mar needs to upgrade their televisions to have these apps readily available where you can sign in with their own accounts to Netflix Prime Video and so forth to be able to watch .TV function is basically useless unless you want to pay for a premium movie"
