“Everything was perfect. View was great, everyone was friendly and helpful, it was secluded and peaceful. Hot water is solar powered so if cloudy could get a little lukewarm but that is not a big deal. Highly recommended.”

“Newly updated room and bathroom with access to an outside kitchen area. The room itself was clean and comfortable and the shower was really nice. Walking distance from a fantastic restaurant (Ixora) and a long walk/short bicycle ride from downtown. The couple that owns the place are attentive, warm and welcoming. They were eager to make sure we had what we needed and let us use their bicycles to explore. Wonderful people.”

“What an incredibly unique, memorable stay in Bora Bora. If you want to avoid the crazy costs of an overwater bungalow but you still want a magical stay at a more affordable price, this is the place. My wife and I booked the Garden Villa Suite for four nights and loved it. The property owners are so accommodating and friendly (rides to/from numerous places including pick-up at the village port, always checking on us, able to book excursions for you, provided us with a complimentary bottle of rum...

“We just stayed three nights at Fare Manta. The property was lovely, the room clean and comfortable, the breakfast excellent, and the hosts Nathalie and Stefan (and their sweet dog Lhasa) warm and welcoming. It’s not right on the ocean, but you’re only 100 yards away, Highly recommended.”

“We took our family of 4 and had a lovely time. The location is quiet, peaceful, and remote which we loved. We walked all around the property as much as we pleased and explored the beautiful scenery. The fishing was great and Captain was amazing. They even cooked the fish we caught and the chef was superb. It’s very easy to relax and unwind from the American hustle and bustle at Aotera. The host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful during the whole stay. It definitely was a week in paradise.”

“Overall, I thought it was nice and comfortable. Google maps originally took me to the wrong place, but we got it sorted out. They seem to have a fair number of animals - besides a couple of dogs and a cat, I definitely heard a rooster as well. So it could be a little disruptive overnight when you're trying to sleep if you're not used to that sort of thing.”
