"My room was a studio apartment and housed 5 of us (1 kid, 1 teen, 3 adults). Everything worked very well. The whole passcode to operate the elevator and unlocking the apartment was new to us but not an issue. Washer/dryer was waaaay much better than any washer/dryer I have ever encountered in Japan and helped to reduce the amount of clothes we had to bring on the trip. Some gripes: the pillows were too flat and had a bad neck several days i.; some inconsiderate guests were definitely smoking...
