“We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The manager Chandana Lakmal and the rest of the staff were attentive to our every need, setting us up with transport to and from Colombo as well as tickets for the ongoing Test match. Everyone was incredibly kind without ever coming off as obsequious. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the property was simply gorgeous - an oasis of utter calm amidst the Galle hubbub. It is well located in that one can walk to the historic Fort area in 20 minutes....

“This property is a stunning gem away from the heat and bustle of Galle Fort. A beautiful pool and a sea breeze is definite respite during the day A 5 minute tuk tuk ride will take you to the Fort. The rooms are large. The beds very comfy. The shower was perfect. All decorated simply and in keeping with the building 150 year age. Then there is Mohan who appears like magic when you need something. He is kind and friendly, the perfect host..if he offers to make you a traditional lunch or dinner...

“Property was beautifully kept and maintained, it was also spotlessly clean. Staff were lovely and very helpful with a great level of English. Then there was the breakfast, or Bregustation, event. This is delicious and a unique offering in a city of uniqueness, do build time in for this if you stay there. If you are staying elsewhere in Galle or the area, it is well worth booking in and paying extra for, all courses hand prepared to order and full of taste and meaning. Thoroughly recommended!!”

“We had a wonderful 3 nights stay in a spacious villa which was spotless clean, very comfortable with bathtub and outdoor shower. Plenty of space on the outside verandah to roll out the yoga mats or just sit and watch the monkeys. The pool was refreshing and clean. Praneeth was extremely helpfulf and very interesting to chat to (we learned a lot about Sri Lankan culture, fruits, cooking, meditation etc). He cooked the most delicious traditional breakfast and dinner for us. We felt very spoilt....
