"It was our first overnight stay here and we were pleasantly pleased how conveniently located it was to the centre. Tea, coffee and sugar provided, a very comfortable double bed which was spotlessly clean and fresh and everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay here again. Car parking is directly opposite. "

"After going through the front gate that should have locked I came by a dumpster full of stinking garbage. The small courtyard was filthy. The stairs going up to the rooms needed a good cleaning and refurbishing. After opening the door to the room I was surprised how small it was, 8’x8’? "We loved our stay here, friendly and helpful staff, great facilities (spa, pool, gym and beauty salon), beautiful surroundings. The hall is stunning, we really enjoyed dining there and the live music (piano man) was an added bonus. We will be back!"

"Firstly, the location was great. The Stork is near the M6 and minutes away from downtown Lancaster, yet you feel like you are in the country. We enjoyed a last minute stay at the Stork and feel as though we had found a hidden gem. If the rooms aren't brand new, they certainly appear so. We also had a gastropub style meal at night and a complimentary full English bteakfast in the morning. Both meals were very good.
