โItโs a very traditional hotel in a lovely, scenic landscape. It also provides a lot of entertainment for youths. It is within walking distance to the station, the High Street and itโs by the sea with a wonderful park in front of it.โ
โThe overnight stay was a pleasure the staff were welcoming and helpful. The bar is well stocked and the cooked breakfast very tasty. The building looks a bit tired not surprising as it is originally an 18th century coaching inn but that didnโt spoil our stay.โ
โThe owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area.โ
