“Recommend the 5 Bells and their team very highly. Both relaxed and very professional, from the minute I checked in to a great breakfast. I was en route to the channel tunnel. If you’re doing the same stay here, seriously.”

“The Lodge was so surprising. Being on the Cathedral grounds, it evokes a sense of tranquility and calm. That feeling does not extend past the walls of the ground. The breakfasts were amazing. The staff was most accommodating. Everything was within the radius of the Lodge and walking to places was easy. The only thing that disappointed was that the standard double room has a tiny bed which was caused a snug bed-share challenge. It worked out. We're glad we chose that accommodation.”

“The English breakfast was good. We stayed at the Flint House. The room was sufficiently large and the bed comfortable. Had issues with the temperature in the room. Asked for the advertised space heater and was told they were all dispersed and none available. Also the water pressure to the toilet was very weak. However, even with these issues the stay was pleasant enough.”

“Our stay at the ship inn was lovely. The room was spacious and modern, the bed was really comfortable, the bathroom and walk in shower were delightful. We didn’t have the breakfast as we had other plans with friends. This is a help yourself continental style breakfast, which looked quite basic but perfectly adequate. “We recently attended a nearby wedding and stayed at The Five Bells, an amazing family-run pub and B&B. The family room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with complimentary toiletries that were especially appreciated as we’d forgotten ours at home. Mary and her daughters were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this lovely place.”
