“This is one of the best value for money rooms in canterbury. We had a free breakfast included which was superb. You get a free visit to the cathedral included, which would otherwise be £20 per person. The location is perfect and you have a lovely view of the cathedral from the lodge. ”

“We were welcomed and walked to the room by a lovely lady called Lois. She wished me happy birthday and was aware of all dietary requirements and dinner plans. She also informed us we had been upgraded (a massive upgrade btw!) we are so happy with the room/ house haha ! Food was amazing last night and we had such fun exploring the grounds and getting cozy in the room. All of the staff seem so happy to talk to you and are very kind. We will be back or will come to another pig property !!!! Thanks...

“A lovely quirky hotel in an ideal location. It was spotless, comfortable and the staff were all very helpful. It was lovely to walk (safely!) across the roof to go to breakfast, admiring the view of the cathedral. The only downside was traffic noise but that is obviously to be expected if you stay in a hotel in the centre of a vibrant city.”

“It was situated very convenient place. Right at center of Canterbury Check in was no hassle room was nice and clean Comfortable but small which wasn't a problem. Breakfast was good 👍 ”

“We were given, without any question, a room for the wheelchaired. The bathroom was not convenient for the non-handicapped like us to use.”

“Staff very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is being refurbished atm but our rooms were very nicely decorated (& clean), as was the hotel bar area. Free car parking on-site. Lovely building & grounds but still close to Canterbury town centre. Only possible downsides - refurb of restaurant not finished yet but hotel clearly communicated this before we went... besides, it's only 10 minute walk into town anyway which has lots of bars and restaurants. - tea & coffee in room but no...
