"Great hotel for a business trip. Easy walking distance from many restaurants and Glasgow central station. Breakfast was great - lovely to have a friendly welcome each morning. I had a room overlooking the trains but they didn’t bother me as don’t run throughout the night! Room was great. Great having 3 lifts so not having to wait. Only downside I can find is the other people staying thinking it’s ok to vape and smoke in the entrance to the hotel - walking past to get in and out is awful but guessing out of your control."

We ended up making two reservations on back to back night for two different room types, and they let us keep the bags in the room and moved them over for us to the new room so we didn’t need to. "We had a one night stay to see a show at the OVO which is literally across the road, so location is brilliant. The hotel is modern and clean. Our room was lovely, floor to ceiling windows with blackout curtains, the bed was a king (very comfortable) and the bathroom was a good size with a walk in shower. One of the Key things for me was that it was so quiet, no noise from traffic or other guests and we had a really good sleep. The buffet breakfast was good with a pretty good choice of hot foods and continental options. As we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, we wanted something to eat before heading to the show and, for convenience, would have liked to have eaten at the hotel, however it appears that the food/menu at the hotel restaurant is limited (only does pizza(?) which is absolutely fine if that’s all you fancy) but we decided to take a walk and find somewhere else for food. There are plenty of places around a 10-15 minute walk away from the hotel. Parking at the hotel was a little pricey at £25 for 24 hours but that appears to be around the standard these days for most large cities. There are other car parks nearby that you could research beforehand though. Staff were really nice on arrival and professional. Overall, I’d highly recommend the hotel and I’d definitely stay here again!"
