โA wonderfully clean and comfortable hotel, perfectly situated in the heart of everything. Staff are efficient and friendly. I greatly appreciated that they asked if I wanted housekeeping during my brief stay. It was nice to be able to clearly communicate that upfront. Major bonus for me ice machine on every floor, I love to fill up my stanley in the morning and be good to go for the day. โ
โVery noisy in the mornings. I worked at the neighborhood hospital until 2:30 in the morning. I was woken up starting at 4:30 in the morning. Because of that, I would not choose this as my first choice. โ
โThis motel is on the main road (US-60 or Ash Street) but was quiet during the holiday period. It is ideally situated near Hill Street, which goes into the historic district less than a mile away. Fast food is nearby, as is hiking at Round Mountain Park. El Rey is a self-described "vintage motor court" so looks the part outside. But the interior room was large enough, the bed mostly comfortable, the spacious shower always had hot water, and the wall heater worked well, with the usual humming....
โBare bones & no thrills here. Walls very dirty, bad renovations. Over all if you just need a hard bed to sleep on with no frills this is the place โ
โThe CMM is located roadside in a small, historic mining town at the entrance to a narrow canyon where the major road snakes its way up to Miami and Globe. CMM is small, the rooms are modest, and the outside is gravelled. Nonetheless, it is spick-and-span clean with fresh towels, immaculate sheets, a small side room with a table desk for laptop work, and a room air conditioner second to none.
