“This is a beautiful hotel , with so many original features . It was clean and the staff were amazing . Especially Julia on reception , Pedro and Junior in the Gallery restaurant , which serves Michelin quality dishes . This is our go to place whenever we are visiting Lavenham . ”

“We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...

“The room was great. Very clean. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The hotel is on the main road, so can be quite loud outside at times but they provide ear plugs (I travel with my own and with an eye mask in case places are loud and bright). I was worried about the bed as I'd read a review that said they were super soft, but apart from being a little softer than I'd personally choose it was fine and I slept well. ”

“Nice tidy and clean room that looked like it had been recently fitted out. Decent sized Kitchen at each end of the corridor i didn't use them but they looked fully kitted out and new. The hotel is on a quiet residential street but took me 5mins to walk into the town centre which has loads of bars, shops and restaurants. Worth calling ahead of arrival and they'll reserve you a parking spot (There aren't many spots) Nice bloke on reception showed us our rooms and kindly found me a fan. ”
