Great Lakes, North America hotel rooms at the Best Western

"Had a wonderful stay because of the friendly service from the staff. I was greeted warmly at check-in. I had a minor problem with the room upon entry I called front desk and they immediately helped me out and switched rooms giving me an upgrade for the trouble. I went to the restaurant that evening to watch Jays game and both bartenders were very friendly and attentive. I went in for a beer but ended up staying for dinner. The housekeeping service was incredible too. I ended up getting a bad head cold and stayed a second night. Housekeeping gave me extra Kleenex and made sure I had enough blankets and said to me if I needed anything else they were just in the hall. I was amazed. Receiving genuine friendly service these days is rare and I had great service from every staff member I encountered. The room rates are budget friendly but the service is 5 star luxury hotel level "

"I hesitated booking this room because there were no refunds and I was scared to commit in case I had to cancel my trip, but I am so glad I finally booked it. The location is ideal- there are great restaurants and shops within walking distance. The room were a fabulous size and the feeling was one of being in a small apartment as opposed to a hotel. The room was clean, updated and very comfortable. Coffee was refilled every day and I was given a bottle of wine for the stay. The reception team was very firendly and had great suggestions. Without a doubt, next time I am in Toronto I will be staying in this hotel."

"We stayed here last Saturday, November 1st. Upon check-in, the staff wasn’t very accommodating, which made our first impression a bit disappointing. However, we appreciated that we were transferred to a higher floor — that was a nice gesture. The room itself was decent, but we noticed there weren’t enough tissue papers or napkins provided in the bathroom. Overall, our experience was okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of hospitality and attention to detail. "
