"We stayed at the property because of the positive reviews but now I’m thinking they might be fake. I wanted to celebrate in Austin with my wife and have a nice dinner downtown, as she was getting ready she found out the shower didn’t have hot water. I went to the reception desk to see what the problem was the response was that I was out of luck, that the entire second floor shares the same water heater and that probably everyone was taking a shower at the same time (this was at 10pm so I found that answer hard to believe) I asked if there was a way to solve this issue, and the response was that I was in room 205 and that the water also had to travel a long way so there was nothing that can be done. I find it hard to believe that for a hotel that claims to be a small Luxury hotel couldn’t even provide hot water to take a shower, stay somewhere else, you have been warned!"

"The room was clean and nice and big however it appeared everything was under construction. (Lots of noise and construction dust) The elevator was out for maintenance multiple days and after being there for almost a week no towel changes, garbage emptied, or coffee. We did go to the front desk for coffee pods but it was a pain to do every day. Maybe once they get things completed it will be better but not now. The valet staff were wonderful! We actually ended up leaving a day early as it was difficult to work with the construction. "

"No room service. Hotel doesn’t have an actual restaurant or dining room, the bar has a limited menu. Any food delivery necessitates going to the lobby to receive the food. This Hyatt is bare-bones: is this the new standard for Hyatt ? There’s only 1 port for re-charging phone and computer, and THAT one is cleverly hidden on the side of the telephone"

"Great hotel near Congress Street, one of the main parts of Austin. The staff was amazing & so friendly, always looking to help. I would definitely recommend the Omni Downtown. We had a great stay!"

"What a wonderful place to stay! The location, facilities and rooms were great. The entire staff, from front desk to valets and bartenders, were extremely helpful and pleasant. The location right downtown near the State Capitol is perfect, with plenty of reasonable parking options, restaurants, and entertainment venues. We were in town for the Sting 3.0 concert at the Moody outdoor ampitheater. Just wonderful. "

"Property was under construction and was only there one night solo for work so didn’t get to check out all amenities but super friendly, helpful staff. Clean and updated rooms, but kind of small if more than more person were to be staying in one room."
