โWe are an elderly couple & had a four hour journey through difficult weather.
A staff member happened to be outside when we arrived & unasked, helped with parking, unloaded our luggage & took it to our room. On registering we were invited to rest in the lounge, served tea & assisted with telephoning. The room was very comfortable & clean. Breakfast excellent. All the staff were well turned out, friendly & helpful. On departure our luggage was carried from our room & placed in our car. โ
โWonderful pub and accommodation. The people are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. This 16th century public house still supports many original features making its atmosphere charming. The room was fairly small, a double bed and the small wardrobe made it tight to get to the bathroom but it was very clean and comfortable. Street Parking is available in front of the pub for free but only from 6pm till 9am so you need to move the car at 9am. The food was good but pricier than either of the 2...
โLovey hotel. We went for an afternoon tea gift. Which was amazing. Everything baked in house. We made a weekend of it with an overnight stay. Staff very very friendly and nothing too Much trouble. Location is wonderful with a couple of good walks.

โThe staff were wonderful, and the location can't be beat. We unwound each night with a half-pint on the beautiful terrace that is set along the riverbank. The building is a lovely old hodge-podge of levels. We were at the top of it, which involves a stairs-climb that could be hard for some. There is ample parking (very welcome!). โOne of the comfiest beds I have stayed in lovely big shower. The food was magnificent.A lot of choice of local produce perfectly cooked and coped wonderfully with my allergies. โA beautiful old Dartmoor Inn in a very pretty village location. Terrific range of local ales and ciders and great food. Lovely walk in shower, but needs a corner shelf for toiletries. Paintwork needs touching up in places, but, overall, a wonderful, comgortanle plce to stay.โ

Our Family room was lovely , very comfortable with everything you needed for your stay . Plenty of tea, coffee, water, milk & lovely biscuits layed out on display . Tv , comfy beds & towels, soaps shower gel etc supplied .
