“The hotel has a welcoming traditional vibe as you enter through mature gardens to a courtyard with a fountain. Our room was a very good size with a comfortable bed, dressing room and a proper full sized bath. There is a choice of modern or traditional. Breakfast was nice, a good cooked breakfast and fresh fruit was a plus, although some cold items had not been replenished and there was no choice of yoghurt. “One of the most quietest rooms we have stayed in. It was what we asked for! Breakfast was let down by items left off plated food and when pointed out unfortunately staff felt it was acceptable to not be truthful by saying we were ordering off an old menu! Which was not true the menus we were given were exactly the same as their on line menus. Needless made up excuse. Needless to say for our 3 day stay we didn't eat at restaurant again.”

“Excellent service from the staff always pleasant with a smile. Good choice for breakfast which is included in the price. Rooms kept clean and comfortable beds. Easy access to the railway station which is about a 5/10 minute walk away. There is a NCP car park nearby although we did not use it as we had a rail rover ticket. Overall a very good and well positioned hotel to base yourself from. We have stayed here a number of years now and always find it good value for money and you are well looked...
