“We love coming to the knoll house, it is clean and quirky and has a lot of history attached to it. The food is lovely. It’s very dog friendly beautiful Studland beach is across the road. It has a small pool and Swanage is five minutes drive down the road. It’s a very relaxing place to be.”

“This hotel is located in an amazing location with Poole Harbour to one side and the sea to the other, both accessible from the hotel. The staff are polite and professional. The housekeeping is impressive. Although the building is looking a little tired, the ambience, staff members and service make up for it. Breakfast is as expected with variety on offer to cater to most dietary requirements. The dining/eating area could be made a little more attractive as the layout seems rather formal....

“We wanted a hotel that is near the beach, affordable and also with easy access to town centre. Unfortunately this hotel is extremely run down. I heard that some of the executive suites have been remodelled (only rooms with aircon!) but the standard room we stayed in was in a terrible condition. Wallpaper on the walls and ceiling were peeling off, mold on all silicons in the bathroom and the shower head was orange from build up. We had an unfortunate timing as another room had left their water...

“I was quickly checked in and allocated my room and the reception staff even took my luggage to my room on the third floor ! Upon entering my room I was pleased to see a big comfortable double bed and a bathroom with a bath and shower ! Tea and coffee and a kettle and a led TV with plenty of channels ! Great value for money, I would highly recommend you see for yourself when visiting Bournemouth ! ”
