“It's clear the owners are refurbishing this motel right off I-91 in Putney, VT. The bathrooms are freshly tiles, wooden floors replace wall to wall carpet, new lighting and thermo pane sliding doors. If you need a bed on a long drive, support these folks. Putney Food Coop is just up the road for great coffee and a wide choice of food.”

“The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works. Parking was no problem - plenty of space, well-lit, felt absloutely...

“The room was as described and met our needs. We found it very handy to have a sliding glass door that opens directly onto the parking lot, in addition to the regular door opening to the hallway, so that we were able to bring our dog in and out without encountering any other guests. It was also handy that the refrigerator was basically double the size of a mini fridge. My only suggestion would be to have more vegan options in the complementary breakfast buffet. ”

“This property was definitely on the older side and could use some renos. All of the towels in my room were stained, and the kleenex boxes left empty. I don't think one single staff member greeted me during the 3 nights I stayed there. They just sat behind the desk or walked about but never said hello or even smiled. ”

“It is a place to sleep not a hotel. It is overpriced and its an old place, the foom has wall mounted AC looks like pics on 70’s. Water was cold. The room door is sliding glass to see the dry swimming pool with curtains. I just stayed one night.”

“All was fantastic! Views, food, stay, etc! We really enjoyed having my Dads 90th there. Melissa handled the food and delivery of it all perfectly! For the room, it was spacious and comfortable, water pressure was good and all was clean. ”
