9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (105)
"Just returned from a brilliant two night stay at The Relais, despite the endless rain. We were joined by family who were celebrating a special birthday and they were so delighted that we had chosen this hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing, nothing is too much trouble and you feel really at home in such a nice atmosphere. They were all so cheery, friendly and welcoming. We felt sad leaving them which is a real sign of exceptional customer service. The manager, Andrew, was very visible,...

"We were made very welcome, our room was lovely and warm (important as it was very cold and frosty), lovely and clean. Bathroom with a bath, but no shower. Large, comfortable bed. Very cosy. Breakfast was great and kept us going on our 10 mile walk that day. We had a lovely evening meal in the pub, which was well cooked and presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

The Rose & Crown
3.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (22)
"The room was next to the busiest road in Henley and was very noisy, hot and unpleasant. There were no staff just a barman who didn’t know what he was doing. The breakfast was paltry and seemed to be cooked in a cupboard behind the bar. The whole place needs refurbishing, it’s not old world charm it’s just shabby. I wouldn't stay here again."
