โEverything is "unique" about Captain Grant's!...The perfect hosts Carol and Ted; the ambience; the beautiful furnishings; the cozy room with all the amenities; the absolutely fabulous breakfast w/ mimosas, pancakes with real maple syrup and blueberry topping on a exquisitely, complete totally antique, setting table arrangement; all the available extras...beer, wine, coffee. tea, brandy in the room, etc. A most wonderful experienceโ
โIt was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. โ
โSuch a hidden gem! Loved the view and peacefulness of the property. The unit was decorated and stocked perfectly. Very spacious. My son loved seeing the train behind the property go by. Enjoyed our stay with our two young children and will return next year. โ
โClean. Its a top priortity of mine when booking a hotel. Indoor pool, heated and the pool room was heated, and clean fresh towels, changing rooms in that area, nice addition. Complimentary coffee, was great. Check in very easy. Shampoo, conditoner body wash hand soap all available for use, and they are large sizes connected to shower wall and bathroom. I would absolutely stay there agajn. Air conditioner and internet worked great, air conditioenr does turn off when it reached temp.and will.kick...
โWe stay at the Hyatt prior to our trip to Martha's Vineyard. Safe, quiet, clean, and located next to several great restaurants and the Mystic Aquarium.โ
