"Rather tired property. Understaffed. On checking at 3pm there seems to be only one member of staff covering reception and the bar. We asked for some tea with cake or biscuits, and we were told we could only have tea because afternoon tea had to be booked 24hrs in advance. We were hoping to have atleast biscuits or cake but there were none. We were told that the chef leaves at 3pm. The hotel is isolated and there is no where nearer to get anything. We were group of 8 stayed at the hotel and were disappointed. No water bottle in the room either. Hotel is expensive for what you get. "

"The White Hart is a true countryside gem, located in a quiet and peaceful setting surrounded by beautiful woodlands. It’s the perfect getaway from the chaos of the city, with a calm atmosphere and traditional charm that make the hotel feel both unique and romantic. As you drive into the car park, you’ll find a lovely pub and restaurant on the left-hand side, while the rooms are located just behind it. The building has retained the original character and interiors of a traditional 14th-century property, which adds so much charm to the experience. The rooms are cosy yet spacious, and we were lucky enough to have a small outdoor terrace, which really added extra value to our stay. Another highlight was the breakfast...absolutely 5/5 stars. The ingredients were high quality, everything was delicious, and the portions were generous. Best of all, it was included in the price! Overall, a wonderful stay. We can’t wait to come back."
