Top Isle of Thanet Hotel Reviews

The Botany Bay Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Fab location, close to the beach, about 40 minute walk from centre of Broadstairs. Lovely veranda to enjoy meals and drinks outside in the good weather."

Shenandoah House
10/10 Excellent
"I had the best stay here! Jim was so warm and welcoming and made me feel like I was right at home. He even let us check in early which was incredibly kind! Recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Margate. Plus it’s right by the beach that doesn’t get too busy!!"

Canterbury Bell, Margate by Marston's Inns
8/10 Good
"Clean airy room, they had plenty of towels and clean bedding. They had put the trundle bed out ready which I thought was nice. They had ample parking which was really useful. The room had some aspects which felt a little cheap, the kettle wouldn’t shut properly, the sink wouldn’t unplug, which was annoying when brushing our teeth, and the curtains nearly fell from the wall when trying to close them."

Yarrow Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Everything about our stay was perfect, the room was immaculate and very spacious, the staff very friendly and welcoming and the air con was a godsend."

San Clu Hotel

The Pegwell Bay Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"It’s a very old and unique building, the main hotel has been updated to an excellent standard, Going to the breakfast room on the -1 level, you can see photos of the area and the entrance to the breakfast room tunnels under the main load and. Has a sea front terrace on the floor and the floor above. The young staff in the complex were helpful and smart"

The House at Ramsgate
8/10 Good
"Enjoyed our stay and pleased with the shabby boutique styling. Breakfast was excellent and staff were very pleasant, engaging and helpful."

Ebenezer's Place
8/10 Good
"A nice little place in the centre of the action, near the beach, near some shops, near pubs and eateries. Could be romantic. Pub noise opposite does stop at midnight. Generally well-appointed, the three larger rooms are done out beautifully, though our room, "Beach", was small with an attempt at a beach hut look. Bed very comfortable, floor painted, no carpet, the room is decorated in grey, white and a (feature?) wall in orange. One clothes rack, no drawers The bathroom floor needed regrouting and so it harboured dust, which got onto the towels. The toilet had a stylised monster motif at the front looking up at you and the sound of its cistern was similar to a 737 at take-off. The main doubt I would have about the Beach room, and possibly the others, is that the roll-top Victorian-style bath is not a shower, though it has a spray handpiece. It is also on a little dais of its own and therefore getting in and out can be tricky, what with the height and the slipperiness of the curved-bottom bath. It nearly legged me up getting in, and my wife just slipped back in 5 times after her bath. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone over 60 or unsteady on their feet."
