Such a cute little place. If you are in Jacksboro, this is the place to stay! They have a restaurant onsite that is absolutely delicious. I had the French dip and the au jus sauce was the best I have ever had the meat was so so good, but I wish there was more in the sandwich. The bar area had an old time saloon feel! They also have a very cute outdoor patio area to relax and eat! I will definitely be back if Iโm in the area! Even if it is just for the restaurant! The rooms were cute/small but had everything you needed for a restful stay. The bathrooms have been recently remodel.
This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast and we were more than impressed. If we are ever back in this area, we will absolutely stay here again. 10/10. Highly recommend!!
An unexpected pleasure! We needed a place to stay while our son was busy at Possum Kingdom. We have since learned there was a big baseball tournament in the area which was why we couldnโt find anything on our first searches. Why not Jacksboro? Itโs just a little bit further. The hotel was awesome! We will stay there again. Recommend!
I loved the authentic vintage look of the room. The curtains were elegant. My headboard had wooden cherubs carved in it! The bathroom was enormous! We had breakfast the next morning and I was greeted by my first name. 100% homestyle breakfast. We had the breakfast platter with sausage, hash browns, toast and eggs. We also had the biscuits and gravy.
This place was perfect for us. The staff was incredibly friendly and informative. There was a claw foot bathtub in the room that was heavenly. There was also a large, beautiful shower. The bed was large and gorgeous. There was street noise outside the room all night, but I had noise canceling earphones so I didnโt hear a thing. I got some for my husband before our next visit this week! Oh, and the breakfast was great!
