"Was somewhat reluctant to book there based on some of the reviews, but we had a wonderful stay at Waterfront Inn this past Labor Day weekend. First time but won't be our last. Friendly staff, clean, plenty of parking. Nice big room with no carpet, which is always a plus for me. All around great hotel for the price point. Just goes to show you not to listen to reviews and go and see for yourself. We couldn't have had a better hotel stay."

"The staff, lobby, breakfast, etc. were all up to par. I only saw a few issues of maintenance like the water flying out of the faucet when one pulled up the knob to start the shower. Little things that only a guest sees. So, it's as if they do not have someone who goes into the spaces to try out and/or inspect the things that guests will be using."

"I had never been to the area so I had booked the reservation and when I flew in come to find out the hotel was 45 minutes to an hour away from my daughter and my granddaughter who I was visiting the hotel was great for understanding my dilemma and totally refunded my money my one night stay there I observed clean rooms clean hallway no loud ruckus and the staff was very helpful and kind."

"The hotel is simply the best. The rooms were clean, the staff was amazing and the lake view was unbelievable. The hotel is historic and has been well kept and is just an amazing experience. If you visit Mt. Dora and are looking for a spot to stay, look no further, run to the site and book it now!"
