"Recently stayed 2 nights at the JR Kyushu Kagoshima. Check in/check out all friendly and efficient. The location is amazing. You don’t even have to go outside the station to access the hotel reception. Amazing. The staff were welcoming in saying hello everytime you either left or returned to the hotel. Great to see. Room was adequate for 3 people, but a little small for 3 large suitcases. Shower was good. The reason I’m not giving this hotel a full score is because of the pillows. I’m sorry, but the pillows were so hard it was like laying on a rock. Not sure what those beads in the pillows are but it really made both nights hard to get any sleep. Sorry, but I had to mention it.
But overall, the location can’t be beat, the staff are very friendly and the price is very good for the type of room you get."
