"Not enough staff when checking in. Had to wait quite awhile upon arrival as only one person working at check-in counter. Received a “towel” card at check-in which said if card not returned then there was a $25 fee. Felt as if we were expected to be towel thieves. Breakfast didn’t open until 6 am and our flight was at 6 just minutes away from this tourist-travel hotel location. Something should be available as we paid the same as everyone else and this is one of closest hotels to airport so they should expect this. No texting system to alert us that our room was ready for us to check-in. Did not offer to keep our luggage while we waited since we arrived only 2 hrs prior to check-in time."

"This property may have been beautiful decades ago but it unfortunately has not been updated since that time. The rooms were wet with humidity due gaps in the door, paint was chipped and warn, and the hallway floors were stained due to water/mildew. The grounds and gym were a 10 out of a 10, but overall the property is extremely dated and the expansive property makes it a challenge to navigate and is very time consuming to get to the lobby."

"Hotel was being renovated in the building we stayed in which was fine until we heard loud construction happening in the next room including all the drilling, hammering and a de humidifier in the hallway. The lobby was under renovations so in order to get to our room we had a maze of up to 3 the crossing over a bridge then elevator down to 2 etc it was a hassle for sure. I was disappointed in all this. Also we called the bell desk a Cpl times because we had questions and they didn’t answer. The view was stunning, the pools amazing, and we enjoyed that aspect of it. Can’t say that we’ll be staying here again though for these reasons."

"Our stay at Hotel Moloka’i was absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed with true aloha spirit. Everyone was warm, friendly, and went out of their way to make guests feel cared for. The property itself is beautiful, with lush tropical gardens, peaceful ocean views, and such a relaxing atmosphere. One of our favorite touches was movie night on the lawn, such a thoughtful experience that showed how much they truly care about creating special memories for their guests. If you’re looking for the old Hawaii feeling instead of a giant resort, this place is something special. Mahalo to the whole team for such a memorable stay."

"The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful so kudos to them. The restaurant situation needs work. My first night there all the kitchens were closed which around 6pm, so I had to order take out. Then another night I tried to order room service and it wasn’t available when it was still early the afternoon. Despite those hiccups it was a peaceful stay."
