“Friendly staff, good quiet rooms, great location ”

“The venue is up a gradual slope, being around a 10 minute walk from the town centre however the view of the harbour during the walk is beautiful. Being close to the pulpit hill viewpoint makes a nice trip being only a couple minutes walk from the venue. Carolyn was very welcoming and seeing me as a female sole traveler, made me feel very safe and gave me suggestions for the best places to visit. “Dont be put off by the 1970s front of this hotel it is fantastic, location is everything for this hotel. on arrival we were checked in without any issues,found our room although on the small side it was was we booked, superking bed was clean the room in general was spotless (28) and we had a seaview. Bathroom was clean, all in all a great hotel. Only problem we had was our window wouldn't open and parking was a bit of an issue.”

“Our trip to Oban was for a family funeral so we were focused on that and we were lucky enough to get a parking space in the small carpark. The inside of the hotel was slightly tired as it’s an older hotel but it was very clean. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very well organised, the young waiter was nice and smiley. Cappuccino was brilliant 👌”

“This hotel struck me as an old-time resort hotel, something out of a movie! The rooms were gorgeous. There was a pool (which we did not use). There were several dining options, a beautiful reception and bar area, and wonderful views of the water from the lobby and from our room.”
