The room was clean, the bed comfortable (a lighter duvet would have been a bonus as the room was very warm and that was with the heating off and windows open).
If you fancy climbing a Munro, Schiehallion is about 15 minutes from the hotel to the car park.

“Das Hotel Killin ist wunderbar und ruhig gelegen. Unser Zimmer war sehr gruosszügig und hatte sogar ein Hommelbett. Leider War das Wetter etwas kühl und gegen abend leich nass, aber das tolle Essen und die Atmosphäre in der Bar haben das vergessen gemacht.
Wir sind zwar ohne Tiere gereist, das Hotel Killin ist aber sehr tierfreundlich, was offenbar vielen Hundehaltern bekannt ist.”

There is a real “ personal “ touch & the owners are so “ hands on”& this care filters down through all their Staff.
Alas, the weather was not in our favour, but the sun always shines inside the “ Inn on the Tay”!

Perched on a hill, the hotel is a lovely 19th century stone building and the interior is impeccably maintained and spotlessly clean. We had a premium room and were amazed by the size and beautiful views over Pitlochry.
