“We stayed in a standard room in the main building and it was so lovely! The breakfast was awesome and the walk down to the village was convenient. This hotel has a lovely restaurant attached with great food. Zaros Lake is just around the corner. My favorite part was the spring water running down the side of the road. A very lovely village to visit on your trip around Crete.”

Pas vraiment le choix sur Anogia, village tout en longueur et sans charme comme cet hôtel pratique mais pas du tout chaleureux. C'est un assemblage de tout en mal fait, un bassin ignoble avec quatre oies criardes, une piscine et un spa ridicules, une taverne épouvantable etc. Seules choses qui sortent du lot: l'accueil...

“Beautiful escape in the mountains with lovely views and warm welcome. We had a great stay here enjoyed the quiet start to our holiday. Don't use google map to get to the property. Best to get google maps to bring you to Krousonas town center and then put in the property address. Google maps in Crete will have you go down goat paths and should not be trusted. “The house was a lovely old Cretan house renovated to a high standard, and Popi was a wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable host - really friendly and full of suggestions of where to go next. You will need to have a car to get around as it is not at all central, and do not expect a modern building - but it was full of character and the aircon worked very well, so in my eyes it was perfect! I would happily stay here again, and hope to do so some day in the coming years.”

“Close to the beach & the airport Karteros Hotel is in a great location. It is also 20 mins by bus from the port. WiFi is good, the room is large with lots of plug ports & a good sized bathroom. Breakfast had a wide selection of fruit, salad, hot items, pastries, fruit juice, hot drinks & more. The pool is large but not heated so can be chilly. A lovely one night stay. ”

“The room is a great size with a ensuite and kitchenette. There is a small dining table for two and a balcony. I found the room suitable and good value fof money. It had a reverse cycle air conditioner which came in handy overnight when it got colder. The bed was firm yet comfortable. The kitchen had a mid-sized bar fridge. ”
