“I had a really great stay at Villa Maïa in Lyon. The hotel sits up on Fourvière Hill, so the views over the city are absolutely beautiful, especially in the morning and at sunset. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed without feeling over the top. What stood out most was the staff—they were friendly, helpful, and made everything feel easy without being pushy. The spa area was a nice bonus, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the breakfast was fresh and simple...

“Pleasant surprise throughout the stay, right from the check in all the way to check out. Staffs are amazingly friendly and accommodating. Hotel's location is like second to none with the river behind and very cute street full of shops and eatery just within couple minute walk out of the gate. Breakfast was also amazing. It says four star hotel but easily one of the better ones in the category. ”

“Hotel itself is beautiful. Pool and amenities as advertised. Staff are well trained, professional, and very friendly. The room fit and fondue do not reflect the price - layouts are quite strange, ie. no sink on the same floor as the toilet and shower. And Bring your own mattress because the beds are exceptionally uncomfortable. Location would be the main reason to stay ”
