May 31, 2019Took the boat from Interlaken Ost to Brienz. Beautiful scenery; comfortable and fast round trip boat ride. Took a bus to the Ballenberg outdoor folk museum nearby. This had dozens of historic, mostly farm dwellings from all over Switzerland, plus cows with bells, pigs, turkeys, etc. Enjoyed it a lot for 2-3 hours. Can walk through most of the buildings. Ballenberg, the boat, and the bus were all free w Swiss Travel Pass. We stopped at Iseltwald on Lake Brienz for a drink on the way back, had a drink, and caught the last boat of the day back to Interlaken. Nice day trip!
