The staff all spoke perfect English, which I certainly don't expect when I travel abroad but it makes the stay much easier. "We had an excellent stay ! The staff is kind and helpful. From what I understand the hotel has been recently redone. The bathrooms and the water pressure could use some work. I definitely recommend this hotel, you will enjoy your stay. Breakfast is better than in most 5 star hotels. Antipasti are served from Wednesday to Saturday on Patio. There again a very nice selection."

"We spent one night in Ascona. Our Hotel room had the most beautiful view we've ever had (it was a lake view room). Apart from the balcony, the room was a normal hotel room, nothing special but also nothing to complain about. Everything was clean and we were overall super happy with our stay. We would have stayed another night if our plans permitted. Parking is unfortunately not at the hotel though - it's in a public parking garage that's not directly next to the hotel."

"Paolo was an amazing host. The B&B is in a fantastic location right off the main road. There are 4 rooms total, each one is decorated with unique antiques and artwork that Paolo has collected. Paolo gave us great recommendations for what to see in town.
