โBeautiful stay. We booked last minute and it was amazing! We were able to book the room with jacuzzi and a fireplaceโwhich made the whole stay so romantic. Will recommend and am planning to visit regularly. Hoping to return in the fall but definitely next spring. This family works hard and takes pride in their Inn and it shows in every inch of the grounds. Loved every minute!!โ
โRead reviews about checking in & was worried. I had no problem. Called the phone # - lady answered right away. Walked me through the payment & key card process & I was done & in my room in 5 minutes. She gave us a different room & it was clean & looked like all new bathroom and curtains. We'll definitely stay here againโ
โLoved the property, room was clean and had everything you needed!! We had an upgrade that was wonderful!! Only downfall was the outside little deck! No privacy all out In the open, side by side and facing the other units with a walkway in front of it!! Was looking forward to sitting out side but ended up not using it at all.

โI was in town to attend an inspection on a house we made an offer on in nearby Becket. The Whitlock was perfect for me. It was conveniently located, in town, close to dining, and with easy parking. The inn was historic, charming, and had lots of character. It was exactly what I was looking for. There is now staff available on premises from 7 am to 10 pm. I was able to check in on site. The outer doors were locked at night. I would definitely come back.โ
โOur stay at The Dewey was fantastic! Everything was easy and efficient, and it was so close to both town and Tanglewood. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure in the 3rd floor shower was fantastic, and the room was well-appointed without being overly crowded. โThe breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. They were fast and lots of choices. It had lots of baked goods. I got the chesdar omeltte and bacon and toast plus fruits in season lime melon etc.
Its a lovely place it takes you back in time. The owner is very easy going and nuce and can answer most questionsโ
โStaff were very accommodating and friendly. Takes a couple of minutes for the shower to get hot but it does work and is HOT. Itโs like stepping into 1991 decor-wise which was excellent. Nice having outdoor access Iโll be staying here again โ
