Okay, so as long as you park within the parking space lines (for fire safety reasons) your stay at the Spindrift Guest House should be a great experience. The honesty bar in the lounge is extremely well-stocked. We did not partake, but the whisky selection according to my husband was excellent. The room is spacious and well-decorated. The bathroom is small and the height of the bath may be a bit tricky for some. No baths are allowed and I found the water temperature on the tepid side when I...

Perfect place for our trip to Edinburgh! We loved staying in Leith as a way to decompress from our busy city days. The neighborhood was quiet, charming, and beautiful. The hospitality at 3 John’s was exceptional. We would happily stay here again.

David was AMAZING! The house is beautiful and so unique! Every single thing that you would need to be completely comfortable is taken care of!

Clean rooms and wonderful staff. Good location as well. We truly enjoyed our stay.

The staff was incredibly helpful and incredibly kind. They gave me great recommendations for restaurants. Seems like they are trying incredibly hard to fix this up and make it a high-quality experience.

The location was perfect, right at the top with easy access to all of the city. It had an amazing view and was quite quaint. The service was top notch. She greeted us as we arrived and made sure we knew everything about the place and gave us help to find anything else in the city. The room was quite spacious and had an actual King size bed. The shower had its own water thing, and it worked wonderfully. The room was clean and well kept. In the morning the breakfast was very good and had...

We had one of our best experience at the 4 friends House.

Front and rear parking available, clean, reasonable room, delicious breakfast cooked to order. Operated by a friendly and helpful couple.

We were a very last minute reservation as our flight was unexpectedly cancelled. The owners were incredibly welcoming & kind. The rooms are small but cozy & each has an en-suite bathroom. Enormous & well equipped kitchen for all residents to use. Short walk to public transportation.

Whilst we were there just for an overnight, this was a LOVELY B & B in Edinburgh, beautifully appointed, with a very gracious host. It's a bit far from the city center, but it is easily accessed by bus. We wished we could have stayed longer!

The space was unuque and beautiful. Definite old world charm. The staff was helpful with suggestions, and friendly. The common spaces were very nice. I would say the room is good for sleeping, but just be aware they are very tiny rooms. It was exactly what we needed, but if I wanted to stay at a place where I'd be in my room a lot I would probably choose something else. But since my room was just for sleeping I would stay here again because I liked all the other spaces.

Very nice guest house, close to the center, only 10 min. walking distance. The owners were really very kind, helpful, gave us lot of recommendation for visits sightseeing, restaurants etc. Nice view from the room (Arthur´s Seat)

Staff couldn't have been more pleasant and accommodating. Spacious room, conveniently located for easy access. First class attention to detail and everyone extremely willing to please. Would return!

it was small and personable.

Nice place with good parking and clean and comfortable room. About 10 minutes drive from Edinburgh tourist center. Good place to stay to visit Edinburugh.

I do not even know where to begin. Richard and his wife (who I am not sure how to spell her name, so I will not attempt) are the most kind and gracious of hosts. They allowed me to check in early and even upgraded my room at no cost to me for two nights. This upgrade was their own doing, I did not request it. Richard gave me a wonderful run down of buses, directions, taxi services, everything I would need to get started on my most dazzling vacation of Edinburgh. The rooms were cozy, warm,...

Our room was cosy and was spacious. It was downstairs and was clean and served with making sure having coffee, toilette paper etc. Parking works well. Very walkable distance from the royal mile.
